<p>Thanks, dmd, for the heads-up on sophomore year. My D will be taking her two trimesters of organic chem to start off her soph year next year. So, I'm expecting to hear "HARDER THAN ****" to be a daily mantra. We'll see if this is where she'll have a defining moment of "now what will I do?". S had these moments, but they occured during beginning of junior year at a large uni.</p>

<p>archermom: that's a great story about the library incident at Haverford. That honor code extends to not checking the library for stragglers before locking up. They trust the kids with all those precious books for an overnight.</p>

<p>Sophomore year/beginning of junior year is also the time when decisions must be made as to the student's major. For students wavering between different paths, it can be very difficult and stressful to close doors to some options while choosing another.</p>
