Is that solid enough for freshman year or is that too weak for the Ivies?

i know, freshmen really shouldn't be on here, but i'd really appreciate some help.

Good enough--depends on where you want to go.

Since you asked about the Ivies--I would say that your first year's result is borderline for many of the Ivies and you really need to get NO more Bs in any of your classes for at least the next year (right now you are not in the top 5% of your class, and Ivies usually take no lower than the top 2 to 3%)--although the SAT scores you have been getting and the ECs being pursued may get you in to at least a low-ranked Ivy (UPenn, Brown, or Cornell)--but not a higher ranked Ivy (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, or Columbia). You odds are significantly improved given your Native American ethnicity.

P.S. Who's Who is worthless and shouldn't be listed on any application--everyone knows it is a scam. Anyone who pays the fee can be listed (I could get my dog listed if I wanted). Also, you have no volunteer service listed here--which is necessary for any Ivy.

The GPA is good enough for many other top schools, though.

By the way, I'm sorry if I'm coming across a bit tough here--but I want you to have a really good chance--so I'd rather be a little bit overly tough now than tell you "too bad" later. Good luck.
