Well I'm going to be a sophomore next year, and I'm usually a pretty driven student, going all the extra miles it takes to get things done. But the past few years I've been procrastinating a ton and really lost passion for learning and the school environment as a whole and my freshman year of high school I ended with a straight one hundred in science, history, and math (all honors) and a 98 in English. I felt good about that until I saw the other people in my classes had 102s and such. I plan to turn it around next year but how much does a mediocre freshman year hi your chances? (sorry if this message is a bit long)

Looks like your best shot is working as a fry cook at Burger King.

^
I realize you’re just making fun of the thread, but people always make this kind of sarcastic comment as if the OP’s high grades mean they’ll never have to work at a minimum-wage horrible job, and that isn’t the case at all.

“I felt good about that until I saw the other people in my classes had 102s and such.”

I’d feel bad about that too…that kind of grade inflation means your high grade probably didn’t mean much either.

Even if you get a 102, isn’t it still a 100 as far as class ranks and transcripts are concerned?

Oh…youre not even a convincing ■■■■■

Mediocre? HA. There are students who would kill to have these grades. You’ll be fine.

Wow. You better buckle down soon.

I can’t say anything. I made a thread like this as well.

Ok, wow, I’m not a ■■■■■. I expect a lot out of myself because I know what I can do and I want to go to a good school and just wanted to know if I had a good chance stacked against kids who got those grades all throughout highschool or if it was inflation like someone mentioned. But never mind now.

^Just hush right now when you have the chance.
