Freshman years coming to an e.n.d.

Wow sounds nice Why Two Kay. I’ll be a physics major and i don’t think it will be that easy lol

Haha yeah, everybody hates me because of how easy things are for me. It’s because I tested out of most of the difficult or general education classes. I never had to take Calc at UT (I have BC calc credit) and people say M 408 is really difficult. I didn’t have to take english, rhetoric, history, government, etc, classes with lots of reading. Plus I only take 12 hours because of all that credit, it’s really great to have had so many AP classes before.

I’m a Chemical Engineering Major- First semester was rough but some how it got easier the next semester lol

Well I probably have credit for Rhetoric but thats it. I hear the first semester is the most difficult lol Maybe taking only 13 hours will be a good thing? Thats what i settled on.

I’m going to be a team lead too! It’s going to be awesome this year.
I’m unspecified business. I can’t say my year was as easy as Why Two Kay’s. I had to take calc and those general education classes. If you can, test out of them or take dual credit. Do anything so you don’t have to waste your time at UT on them! I had SO much reading for them (and the reading is what takes the most time sometimes).
A’s are possible if you put in the effort and don’t weigh yourself down with a load of hours.
I walked everywhere and managed to keep off the freshman 15. A bike is also a good idea, especially if you live in West campus or on the other side of campus (like kinsolving and the honors quad)

I would stray away from making Facebook groups to discuss answers about homework. I was involved with one last semester and around 70 people were punished (F on a lab, or worse, F on the course).

If you do, however, notify a T.A. so he/she can monitor it so it doesn’t get out of hand.

My very first college classes start in 2-3 weeks. I’m signed up for Psy 301 with Rivers which I think I can handle. But also I was thrown in to… what sounds like a bogus class - Intro to Archaeological Studies: Prehistoric Archeology with Marceaux – kill me it sounds like I’m going to fall asleep with that one. Trying to get out that one.

Has anybody taken either class??
