There are language placement tests on blackboard that essentially only count as practice tests that let you know where you stand. During orientation weekend, you will be able to take math and foreign language placement tests.

You should be able to sign up for classes soon. I don’t know if Georgetown has started sending out the large packets with information on classes, etc. yet, but you should get them soon. If you’re in the college, it will tell include information on labs (if you’re a science major), linguistics class (if you’re a linguistics major), or seminars (if you applied for them and got in). It will also include the name of your peer advisor (who you can ask other questions about advising) and a list of gen ed requirements. You will soon get to “pre-register” for classes and ultimately during orientation you will finalize your schedule and see which classes you got into, and have a chance to complete your schedule.

Hopefully that helps!
