<p>I have recently heard of 2 high school seniors who applied for admission for 08/07 and were accepted but told they could not begin until Jan. Does anyone know what this is about? Just curious, thanks!</p>
<p>I know few kids from years before in this program. Freshman year for them is different from the rest of the class; they have special freshman seminars and they usually are invited to take one or two classes during fall (I’m not sure, but I heard that transportation is included in the cost of those classes).</p>
<p>I think they also take summer & fall classes so that they are able to graduate with their class.</p>
<p>It is called the January Program, and I am one of the kids accepted into it. Basically it allows for students to have 1st semester off and start at WashU in January. We are invited to do the Freshman Summer Program and a Special program just for the J Progs during the fall. Expenses are paid for, which is good to know. I am not completely sure if I am that excited about the program but I am so happy to know that I was not waitlisted.</p>
