freshmen courses?

hey guys :)

just wondering im gonna be a chemical engineering major( if i can survive it at least) and i was just seeing what type of courses i will be taking. I am not using any ap credit since i wanted to take the basics so i think it will be

math 1501/eng 1101/chem1211k?( i think thats the one i have to take?)/ i dont what else for first semester ;p

thats what i think i have to take for sure, can anyone recommend easy electives if i have to to take them, such as in social studies or other requirements. i dont want to overload myself in college and maintain a good pace so i can focus on each class more.

The CHBE website actually has suggested schedules for both the Standard and Biotech options (assuming completion in 4 semesters).

I just transferred into Tech, so I can’t recommend any electives.

If you scored a 4 or 5 on your AP exams, take the credit. You obviously know the material and it’s easy to slip up in one of the early (weed out) classes and ruin your gpa.
Both my sons took all their AP credit and did just fine. My oldest is a senior with a 3.9 overall GPA My second has done well in everything except Health where he expected an easy A and ended up with a C.
