Freshmen Foreign Language Requirement

Hello!

I am applying to Cornell and I have completed two years of foreign language and am currently in my third year of foreign language(Spanish III). Will this put me at a disadvantage in admissions since I have not completed three already and am, instead, completing my third one right now? I just want to make sure this won’t end up being an unnecessary red flag.

No. When colleges list a suggested/required HS background, they mean that this is what they suggest you take before graduation, not before the application deadline.
