<p>Hey guys I'm not necessarily new to CC but I just got around to making an account. But I'm a Biochem major with a 3.8 GPA in the fall and I should have a 3.7-3.9 this semester.</p>
<p>I feel like I'm on track GPA wise but as we all know that's not enough for med school. I have a job as a pharmacy tech, I know it's not actually medical but it pays really well and it's not far from school.</p>
<p>But for my question, what extracurriculars should I be doing? I have a job, 17 hours, and that's about it. I'm finishing up my freshmen year and I want to start gathering things for an evident application.</p>
<p>Would it look bad that on an application that I was a pharm tech? Maybe they would think I was more prepared for pharmacy school?</p>
