Freshmen: Pennster.com is now online!

Pennster, the virtual student orientation network for the Class of 2009, is now online at: www.pennster.com

Pennster is developed and maintained by the Office of College Houses and Academic Services and New Student Orientation; it is the only official online network for incoming freshmen at Penn.

Simply use your Pennkey to log on now, and start meeting your fellow classmates. Also, faculty, staff and student volunteers are online to answer all your questions about starting your academic career at Penn!

Yayyy Pennster :-D

so you claim, so you claim

dude this is going to be sicker than facebook! as soon as uhh everyone else joins.. im the only one in my hall lol

yeah im the only one in my hall too.

i can defintely see this thing taking over me life.

I'm ridiculously jealous... I heart Pennster....

One of my friends is a PHIN... I'm going to have to find my way out to his house in PA to go spend some time on pennster.... or I could just try to convince him to tell me his Pennkey... hmm.....

um, do a lot of error things show up for anyone trying to do stuff on pennster?

If you get an error, email the rescomp people (the address is at the top of the pennster page). This thing is only in it's 2nd year (and the first year for a lot of features, such as the PHINS group) so there are bound to be bugs! Let them know about it and they will certainly fix it fairly quickly :)

I get no errors at all.

the threads on pennster are in reverse chronological order
it is really annoying

agreed
i still think cc trumps the penn forums thus far in a lot of aspects

agreed... and yea, im gettin mad bugs on pennster

eh, pennster will get better and better as more and more people sign on and as it gets closer to school.. However, I will always have a soft spot for CC..

Hi -- most of the errors are fixed. Admittedly, we didn't have too much time to test changes/updates to Pennster before the launch date, but I've been fixing errors as they've come up. Please continue to report any bugs and send your suggestions to: rescomp@pobox.upenn.edu

pennmike, any chance you can get the threads to display in chronological order instead of the current reverse chronological order?
