The math class might change to math 156 (calc II) depending on my ap score. I won’t get my spring schedule until November or December.

My tentative schedule for the fall…

I have preview the 28th/29th and hopefully I’ll be able to convince my adviser I’m up to the challenge

I plan to major in either Chemical or Nuclear Engineering while on the pre-health track

Fall:
Gen Chemistry I (or II, I still need to decide)
Gen Physics II
Honors Calculus III
Cultural Anthropology
Introduction to Nuclear Sciences

I don’t register for spring until the end of first semester, but I plan on taking:
Engineering Statistics
Professional Communication for Engineering
Chem II (or Analytical Chem, depending on what i take first semester)
Differential Equations
Genetics (Or if my dual enrollment credits don’t work for med school, Gen Bio II)

I don’t register for classes til orientation in August, but this is what I’m hoping to take.

Double degree: BM Piano Performance & BA History

I will take a music theory placement test and almost guaranteed I’ll be out of Theory I, which means I’d be in Theory II, but that’s not offered til 2nd semester. Honestly, I could test out of Theory II I think with some studying and reviewing the things I’ve already learned, but you’re not allowed to test out of it…it sucks, just found that out the other day.

By the way, we go by “course units,” rough equivalency: 1 course unit = 4 credits, normal take 4 course units, but I’m hoping to be allowed to take 5 with the whole double degree thing.

Fall Semester:
Mus181- piano lessons (my major instrument) (0.5 course unit)
Mus - Ensemble (don’t know which one, based on auditions) (0.25)
Mus -clarinet lessons (my minor instrument) (0.25)
Hist 160- History of Latin America (1) (there’s not a lot of 100 or 200 history courses offered that I can take as a freshman this semester, so I think I’ll do that one)
Econ 100- Intro to Economics (gen ed class) (1)
Gateway 100- don’t know which section/course title yet, basically just a freshman writing course (1)
hopefully 1 other course, but don’t know what
4-5 course units, 16-20ish credits, don’t know yet

Major: Nutritional Science
Career goal: Registered Dietitian

My tentative schedules:

Fall:
Chem 1A (general chemistry for life sciences) - 3 units
Chem 1AL - 1 unit
Intro to Nutri Sci 10 - 3 units

Chem 3AL - 2 units
Japanese 1B - 5 units
Psych 2 (psychology for non-majors) - 3 units

I’m undecided whether to take calculus at the moment. My major only requires one semester of it, and I pass out of it with AP credit. I’m also not pre-med, so it’s up in the air whether I will take something more advanced or not at all. Something I need to discuss with my advisor about.
