I don't know how many other incoming freshmen are on here, but for those of you that see this (and those of you that remember your old schedule) post away.

Here's mine.

PreAP (Honors) Eng 1
Geometry Honors
AP Enviromental Science
AP Human Geography
Latin I
Jazz Ensemble
HOPE (Health Oppurtunities through Physical Education which is required in FL)

Position69, what the hell are you talking about?
Skipping ahead to Calculus? AP Bio as standard?
PRUNEFACE, ignore that *****.

I would suggest dropping AP Geo in favor of AP Euro or World… more useful.
AP Bio would be hard. Perhaps go for an Honors Bio course. Environ isn’t great.

lol at the school I’m headed to there are a bunch of “Prequistes” (sp) including grade level. Euro is only available as an elective in 11th-12th grade (same as psychology) and AP World is one of the three options for required SS sophmore year. Honors Bio (at my school) is not recommended by the older students and their parents, they all say go AP Enviro.

I have never heard of anyone taking AP’s as a freshman (at my school). Last year’s valedictorian took 2 as a sophomore, but ended p going to Rutgers, so uh… whatever.

mine offers several APs for a sophmore including: AP Stats (if you take Algebra II Honors concur.), World History, Art History and Studio Art 2/D and Studio Art 3/D and Music Theory, (all “artistic” ones are also available as a freshman) and my school also offers courses for credits toward an aeronautic degree (we are in a MAJOR aviator communicator Navy + AF -my parents are some of the only parents that do not have a spouse in the military).

AP Art History
Applications of Science Honors
Advanced Composition Honors
Geometry
Algebra II
AP Art History (Yes, listed twice -_-)
English I Honors
Engineering Honors
World History Honors
Pre-calculus Honors

At my school, it is very rare to see a 9th grader with any AP classes because students are required to take the “Honors” version of the class before the AP (e.g. Honors USH before APUSH). There only a few exceptions to this rule like AP Psych/AP Environmental Science/AP Human Geo.

However, once Sophomore Year rolls around, basically all the APs are open.

Symphonic Band
Honors Natural Science I
Honors Geometry
Honors English I
French I
P.E. for a semester / Swim Team (Athletics) for a semester

My school doesn’t over APs until junior year, unless you’ve taken the prereq classes. And our community college doesn’t allow students below 11th grade to take classes. So nobody takes APs freshman year, and only some new students take AP sophomore year.
