Friday

I don’t think they’re in high school. According to her profile on her record companies webpage Rebecca’s only 13. And from what I’ve seen of her in her video she probably didn’t skip a grade.

That song was on the radio today; made the DJ swear.

AND they omitted the ‘like OMgzzZz’. Oh noez!

If she’s 13, why the **** do all her friends drive and go to parties on Friday night.

When my mom watched the video she said: none of them look old to enough to party.

Due, i’m going to one of those underage teenage clubs that don’t serve alcohol.

http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/6148/1300154451929.jpg

so awesome

im pretty sure those people arent even old enough to be lisensed lmao

I showed my boyfriend and he was like “That’s terrible.”

Gotta have my bowl!!! Gotta have my cereal!!

This just in - -

Reports have been confirmed that Rebecca Black’s “Friday” is in fact a cover of a Bob Dylan song.

It’s Fra-eeeday. We so excited.

lol she’s 13… those kids have to be no older than 12 lol.

Lawl, I finally decided to listen to it. I am at a loss for words.

“It includes all the makings of a hit: 1) it’s educational (teaches the days of the week), 2) it incorporates real life issues that everyone struggles with (which seat to take), 3) it’s fun (even repeats the word “fun”).”

Hahahaha so true.

Mean but also true.

Especially since most things by middle school “artists” are targeted to/more popular with kids a few years younger. I doubt they even know that parties exist outside of birthdays and holidays.

Oh, and I liked how she went to the bus stop only to get picked up by her friends…not to mention the fact that they weren’t anywhere near old enough to legally drive.

The cereal is the best part. No, the rap is the best part. No, the easily empathized-with moment in which he has to decide in which seat to ride is the best part. No, when the video writes out “We so excited” is the best part. No, the “yeah!” is the best part. No, the rap is the best part.

Do you SEE what talent we’re up against–the ENTIRE song is made of epic.

As a musician myself I find this completely entrancing. Her use of dissonance truly makes the song.

Seriously? Her lyrics are so deep.

“The time is goin… everybody’s rushing!”

She clearly feels everyone is running around and not appreciating the time they’re in.

“It’s Friday!”

It’s Friday. It isn’t Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday. She’s trying to tell us to live in the moment. It can obviously be “Fun, fun, fun, fun” to live in the moment.

The rapper represents a change in our thought process after listening to the lyrics!

“In the fast lane, switching lanes”

We used to be in the fast lane, but after hearing her song, we are switching our lifestyle to just gettin down on Friday.

Yeah!

I like the part where she rhymes bowl with cereal.

I don’t understand what’s wrong with this song. The MV looks okay, and there are a lot of more stupid songs, why “Friday”- Rebecca Black?

Theme song to my life.

Lol.
