On the reslife site it says that the fridge can’t exceed 4 cu. ft, 1.5 amps, and 100 watts.

100 watts?!!! Is this a typo? I just got a fridge and it’s 330 kW.

Well, your fridge is most certainly not 330 kW, but either way, they don't give a damn.

Kind of a dumb question, but do dorm's kitchens have communal fridges?

Yes. But you can't keep um...forbidden beverages in them.

No...just wondering b/c I got placed in a converted kitchen/lounge with three roomies...and my impression from reslife is that we'll have a private kitchen...should be an interesting experience:)

For the kitchens in the apt. style dorms (ie., Third North), do they come equipped with kitchen stuff....like plates, silverware, pots?
Thanks...

Third North, what?

Um, I feel really really stupid in my post above. I wrote it late at night and forgot I was on the BROWN forum. Ya see, I have a kid who goes to Brown (entering soph year) and a kid about to enter freshman year at NYU and so I was reading about fridges and it got me to think about my younger kid's new dorm which is what they call an apt. style dorm with a kitchen in her apt. and I forgot I was reading the Brown forum. Don't mind me, I'm just a mom. In fact, I just went to the NYU forum to check on if anyone answered my question about the kitchen and voila, I could not find my post. And lo and behold, it is here on the Brown forum. Very dumb, I admit. So, carry on. :D
