<p>I need to buy a fridge for my dorm. Which size do you think is best? Compact fridges usually range from 1.8 cu ft to 4.6 cu ft. I think 1.8 is going to be too small. I wont be buying liter sodas or anything, but I do want one big enough to stand up a jug of milk in. Also it needs to fit in a compact car.</p>
<p>Do you want a freezer or not? The small fridges (1.8 ft^3) will have a small tray area for ice or one small TV dinner. If you want a freezer, get one with a separate freezer…it should be about 4 ft^3. Your dorm may have a limit on size…my limit was 4 ft^3.</p>
<p>If you don’t care for a freezer and all you want to do is hold milk, just get a 2-2.5 ft^3 fridge.</p>
