friend's chances

My friend asked me what his chances were at these schools. I, of course, told him he had a great shot. But I'm not sure b/c of athlete status...

SAT I: 1440
SAT II: 700 Math IIC, 680 Writing, 670 Physics (taking all again in Jan)
GPA: Weighted (4.35ish)
UW 3.9ish
Rank: 5 of 398
AP's: 3's and 4's on AP World, AP US Hist, AP Lang

EC's
Baseball (4 yrs, Varsity)- one of best in area, many all star teams, contacted coaches at schools he's applying to etc....hook
Student Government (Treasurer 11,12) (Our SGA is humongous)
Key Club
Mock Trial
Theatre
Chorus (All County)
NHS
...

So that's the gist, I know I was a little vague, but I don't have his stats memorized. He is applying to:
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Duke, UVA, St. Mary's College, Naval Academy (already has 2 nominations), Macalester, UPenn, Vanderbilt

What are his chances, for real?

dont know about the rest, but the ivy league schools are reaches unless he's super good in baseball

Harvard, Princeton and Yale are extreme reaches.

Duke, Penn and UVA (if he is a non Virginia resident) are match/reaches

Macalester, Navy, UVA (if he is a resident of Virginia), Vanderbilt are matches.

St. Mary's is a safety.

I pretty much agree with Alexandre's ranking, but the atheltics may help at schools like Duke that are fond of sport. Improving his SAT II's will help his chances.
