<p>So my friend's EFC is 16650.... what federal programs does that entitle him to?? He got a FinAid package from BU with the only thing being a 3000 loan... ***?</p>
<p>Our EFC is about half that and our son does not qualify for anything but unsubsidized loans. I don’t know what your EFC has to be to qualify for any assistance but it must be pretty low.</p>
<p>For federal grant aid the FAFSA EFC has to be very low - @4040 or less. The loan is probably a Stafford which everyone qualifies for.</p>
