The following message is brought to you by a friend who is too lazy to create a CC account so I am doing him a favor.

"Hello community, I just received my October ACT (35) score and I'm wondering what I should do with my SAT scores. My SAT so far have been 2090 x 2, with superscore being 2220 and I am retaking in December. My SAT II's are 800 math 2, 800 chem and 780 physics. The highest I am applying to are the top UC's, Tufts, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Stanford, Cornell, Pomona and Harvey Mudd. I kind of want to send in my ACT only instead of SAT, so I have two questions.

1) How negative will my SAT score look in comparison to ACT? Should I send in my SAT score or ACT or both?
2) Is there a way I can send in my ACT and SAT II's without sending SAT I? Score choice is too expensive for every single college, I'm afraid.
3) Do I have to resend all my colleges a second SAT score report after December if I send one now?

Certain schools on the list, Tufts, Pomona, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, do not allow the use of score choice. (Unless they changes their policies this year) These schools want to see ALL of your test results from all sittings.
If you already have a 35 on the ACT and a 2220 superscore on the SAT along with 3 excellent SATII scores, I would suggest that you do not need to do any more testing.
You have many schools on your list that want to see all scores. These schools do not look favorably on kids who have overtested.
Spend your time and attention on putting together a great application.
