Is it possible to raise my sat score from 1500 (760 - english, 740 - math) to 1570 in 1.5 months?
I have enough free time to practice up to 10 hours a day. I have several books (Meltzer, College Board, Ivy Global, Kaplan) that I am planning on using for prep. I am also taking advantage of the online resources (Khan academy, Prepscholar). I might hire a private tutor.
It really depends on your weaknesses…and where your mistakes were…
@annamom I made several math mistakes on the subjects that I didn’t know or forgot. My english mistakes are usually connected with vocabulary. I believe that as I am an international student, it will be easier for me to raise my math score than my english score.
Yes you can:
If you do a few tests every week then you should at least be able to raise it a couple 100 points, if not more. For vocabulrary, I suggest you read a higher level novel (or two) over hte 1.5 months. For math, just restudy all the topics and find what your lacking on/forgot. By doing lots of tests, you will also eliminate silly mistakes/errors.
If you’re really into it, you can try doing a full test eveyr 2 days or even once a day, but thats a bit crazy lol. But it would definitely rais ur score a lot.
Sorry for typos, My keyboard is really bad.
@CoolestAsian Thank you! I will most definteley follow your recommendations! I’m not sure I will have enough practice tests to do them every day, but I will try to do 2 full tests a week.
The college board website has like 6-7 practice tests on it. I’m pretty sure you can get a bunch more on other websites. You can always redo tests if you run out because you will still be practicing your skills.
good luck!!
