At the moment, my score is around 1700 and I'm trying to take it up to 2000. My SAT is in October and I'm studying by the princeton review. Taking prep classes for CR and W but not math. How likely is it that I can do in two months?

Princeton Review is an excellent prep course; I’m taking one of their SAT courses as well. You have a fair score, a bit on the low side, so it should be easy to take it up in two months. Math is the easiest section to improve (I hope you’re studying that independently), and PR has some pretty good strategies for writing. The best way to prepare for CR is to memorize vocab and READ. If you can get a decent essay score and practice everything else, I’ll say you’ve got a decent chance.

I went from 1690 to 1920 from October to March. It wasn’t two months, but the 2 week Winter Break really helped. It’s definitely doable.

It will take a lot of work, but it is definitely doable. When it comes to the SAT it is important to get as much practice as you can. Kaplan has a book of 15 practice SAT Tests, and if you do a mock SAT every Saturday until your test date, you will be really comfortable with the test material.
