From 1800 to 2100+

Hello, I took the SATs for the first time in December. I got an 1800, without any studying.

Critical Reading: 630
Math: 610
Writing: 560
Essay: 7

I plan on taking the SAT again in June, so I have about 5 months to study. I would like to improve my scores in each section by at least 100 points.

I don't have the money to buy a prep course (unless it's really cheap), but that's okay because I'm a didactic learner anyways. I do, however, have the money to buy prep books.

Any advice?

I went from a 157 psat to a 2110 SAT with just the blue book. I suggest getting that and Kriegers essential vocab book.

went from a 1980 to a 2330. I had a 620 in W and got it to an 800. And went from a 590 in CR to a 760. Just do lots of practice tests/study vocab, and make sure you review your tests. That’s really all it takes. Good luck!

Hard work will get you there. Just review your vocab daily, and take a practice test every 2 weeks or so and you’ll be fine.
