Has anyone improved from 23 to 30?I want to take ACT 3 times(april june and probably september)is it hard to improve from 23 to at least 28 on the composite? And is it possible to improve from 23 to 30?Has anyone got that high jump?

Umm...well I do have a friend who jumped from a 24 to a 31 in two sittings. However, I'm pretty sure it was because she came from a pretty shabby county highschool, but then transferred to the magnet school we currently attend.

Jumping from a 23 to a 30 sounds like a bit of a reach, but it's not impossible. The ACT tests students on how well they take tests, not actual knowledge, really. I mean, the answers are provided for you, so you don't have to scramble and scrape for a bunch of random facts acquired through high school.

I think if you practice and really familiarize yourself with the test, you'll be fine. Still, people usually don't deviate too much from their original score, I think.

That's a 28 point jump. You would have to improve by an average of 7 points in each section. It's not unheard of--I know a guy who went from a 22 to a 32. But it's very rare, unless you really weren't thinking straight the first time and get yourself together the second.

23 is just my practice test.I took it at my house. It was the first time I did ACT at all.

i did it lol
24-30

I went from a 28 to a solid 33 in one try. Oct. test to Dec. test

wow! how did u guys do it?!?! did it take ALOT of prep or were u just more confident?

shtload of prep lol
buy princeton review, barrons, kaplan, and the REAL act book...its red lol

you'll get at least a 29 if you do all these properly

ya i got barrons and REAL...ive already done all of them in REAL and I can definitely see an improvement between my first and third test...its actually really confidence-boosting to see that!

Barrons is insane though one time i only missed four questions in a CR section and i was flying over the moon with joy haha

but yeah i gotta get PR and kaplan still :/
