ACT score breakdown: E:29 M:26 R:33 S:25 C:28. The only prep I had for this was taking 3 practice tests. What is the best way to improve my Math and Science scores? Is it possible to increase them to 33's each?

Take practice tests and see what you get wrong. That will help for math a LOT. Math is just about learning new stuff and remembering it.

For Science, are you finishing on time and getting that scores? Or are you pressed for time?

If you are not pressed for time, I found it really helpful to sometimes take a section, forget about the time limit, and literally spend an hour sometimes more on it. This will allow you to concentrate better and THOROUGHLY process the information. Don’t forget to practice with the real time limits too. But that “practice exercise” helped me to elarn how to read the “ACT science way”.

If you are running out of time, you simply need to read faster. Don’t get too caught up on the details during the first read-through as you will go through the detaisl when answering the questions.

For the science section, there are always couple of passage types. Do a couple more practice tests and identify which ones are causing you the most trouble and work on those. It will make your prep more concentrated and useful.
