<p>Hello, I'm contemplating if I should transfer from a Community College after 1 year (if possible in my situation), or get an Associate's first then continue on to a Cuny, or elsewhere.</p>
<p>I'm currently a freshman, but I'm confident that my GPA will be anywhere from a 3.5-4.0. That will also be including the 2nd semester in the spring. What I'm worried about though is if the colleges I'm interested in will accept me only after a year (I only have Hunter in mind atm). Also, I'm not sure if colleges check a transfer student's high school record.. I hope they don't. I had terrible grades due to having many absences throughout my high school years, I also did not take the SAT's.</p>
<p>Having that said, it'd be nice if someone here can shed light on my dilemma, especially a student who's been in a similar situation as I currently am in ~</p>
