Hello, guys. I need some advice!

Today I finally manged to feel thrilled about the prospect of going to my university of choice, but my joy was obliterated with the realization that the admission numbers are against me and that my degree--Psychology--is a especially congested line of study at UCLA...

Could I even get in?

I have a 3.95 GPA (note: If you guys believe I might be better off with a 4.0, then I can go ahead and try to "erase" the class that I got a B in...it's unnecessary, after all) and am in the Honors program at MSJC. Something to note is that it has a TAP (Transfer Alliance Program) with UCLA which improves my chances. I plan to attend its conference next month...yet, it's hard to feel secure. What if?

The counselor has said that I only have around two more classes to take for the Spring--at the moment I have completed 68 credits in a year with AP credit as well--but I am wondering what else I can do in order to help myself.

I plan to around five Psych classes in the Spring and as of now I just need to take Chem and one humanities class to fulfill the pre-req to transfer at junior level. Beyond them, what are some other things that will liven up my application?

I wanted to know as well how the housing situation is at UCLA. I need my own room (note: I have trouble sleeping if anyone is in the same vicinity) at a cheap price. Even if it is tiny and I have to share a bathroom with several people or make my own food, I can manage.

Also, what other UCs have a excellent Psychology program and a gorgeous campus?

Thanks for the help!

Here is some relevant info on TAP: https://www.admission.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/ADM_CCO/tap.htm
