My semester just ended and I am so ashamed in my grades. I have 4 B’s, 1 A, and 1 C. my first C. I cannot believe it. I got it in regular CP class. My gpa this semester will be a 3.0, much lower that the usual 3.8+ . UCLA was my dream school and UCI was my realistic first choice. Now that I have gotten this C (and the other horrible grades), will I be rejected from UCI?
As far as I know, UCs don’t count the grades from the senior year as long as they are not Ds and Fs. In anyway, there is nothing you can do now.
you can try this way:
[Transfer</a> Alliance Program - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](<a href=“http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/adm_cco/tap.htm]Transfer”>http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/adm_cco/tap.htm)
in my state (VA), you can get into the tops schools here (such as UVA, Virginia Tech, and W&M) by going to community college, doing well (usually a 3.5 and up), and get garenteed acceptance (just read the agreements/check the university’s undergrad admission requirments to make sure you are taking the right classes).
going to a good school such as UCLA can give you the connections you may need to get a job, so this is a worthy option
