from CC to georgetown uni

does georgetown really look at your SAT result?
i am planning to transfer to its business school and on the website it said SAT is required.
i doubt because many schools look at your college results only..
can anyone give me an answer?thanks

Yes, Gtown definately takes your HS GPA/SAT scores into consideration even if your applying as a junior.

oh thanks. i haven’t take SAT before.
so i should not even try that because of a lack of SAT result and bad HS GPA?

You better take the SAT if not you’d be ineligible to apply. Just out of curiousity, what’s your hs GPA?

ok thanks for your advice.
i dun even know how to count it…
like i had my high school in other countries…and which i got many Cs on it.

I applied to gtown as a transfer without having taken the SAT and only a GED. I was waitlisted but didn’t get off the waitlist. FYI you do not need a SAT/ACT score to apply but it will probably help. They advised me not to do it just for the sake of admissions.

Kula, if you don’t mind what was your stats and intended major?

3.8, finance, no sat/act and just a GED for high school. Non-trad, excellent EC and letters of rec.

edit I’ll be reapplying again this year with a 3.9 and all of the prereqs for junior transfer done which I didn’t have when I applied before.

Good luck!
