I am about to get my AA from my community college this fall, applied to Rutgers SAS school as a marketing major but not the business because I am lacking a couple pre reqs. I was thinking I could do the spring at SAS fufilling pre reqs and getting a good GPA, apply to the business school for the fall in January, and hope on getting in for the fall 09? A min of 45 credits must be taken at the b-school, I am hoping no more than 3 semesters, so I could graduate Fall '10.

Money is a bit of an issue but if I can get an RU business degree in the end I think it would work out well. Otherwise, I got into the business prog. at Montclair, but my father thinks that will not be nearly as good as RU. (But the pros are I wouldn't have to muck around trying to fill pre reqs and getting started with major specific credits)

I know I should talk to undergrad admissions but it is the weekend and I'm desperate, need to make a decision fast. Does it sound too messy and not the best idea financially to go to RU? I can't transfer from my cc to the b-school because of a cumulative gpa issue, I would rather start fresh at SAS. (3.6 last semester but a 2.85 cum)
