Hi SpiritManager..Thanks...first of all yes i know USC Film Scoring Course...i will go their once i complete my BM in Composition...UCLA...yes i know it's a good school but maybe i prefer the east coast for now since there are great schools (maybe even better than UCLA for Composition) and my father lives in Atlanta.
by the way i never heard about Chapman....you're talking about the conservatory right? Thanks again

Chapman does have a Conservatory of Music: http://www.chapman.edu/music/

The University is in Southern California and is heavily endowed with money from the film world. I have no idea what the quality of the music composition program is - I just know that connections will be made there with future directors/producers.

Another place to check out (closer to Atlanta) would be Florida State University: http://music.fsu.edu/ They have a serious college of music and one of the most exclusive film programs in the country.

Other schools with very strong film programs which also have strong music departments are Bard & Wesleylan.
