From Marshall to Goldman?

Is it possible to get into east coast, elite I-banking from Marshall? E.g. GS, Lazard, JP Morgan, etc.

Or is the job orientation different at marshall, say to more corporate jobs, or to venture capital, etc>?

No, it is not hard at all to get into an I-baking company. The whole east coast thing might be a problem since there aren't as many alumni there, but you're graduating from a top 10 business school...how hard could it be?

I-banks recruit from 3 campuses in Southern California: CMC, USC, and UCLA, CMC happens to have the most alumni in upper management jobs ....

USC's alumni are very concentrated in the southern California area; there aren't as many opportunities for employment on the eastern seaboard as there would be at a similarly-ranked school on the east coast.
