From Ohio to California

<p>Hi guys, I'm nearing the end of my Junior year at an okay public school (Austintown-Fitch) in Ohio. I plan on attending a college in California for engineering. I was wondering what my chances of getting into schools like UCB, UCSD, UCLA, USC, and Stanford.</p>

ACT : 22 Composite... Will definitely be improving..
Ethnicity : Asian</p>

<p>As of now and next year, I have taken all honors classes where they have been offered to me. </p>

<p>ACT score very low for any chance at the UC’s listed and forget about Stanford completely. Even with a perfect ACT score of 36, Stanford is a reach for everyone. You would need at least an ACT of 30+ to be competitive for the schools on your list. You also realize that being OOS, the cost for the UC’s are approximately $55,000/year with little financial aid. How much are you and your parents willing to spend?? They are many schools in Ohio that would be great matches. Good Luck to you.</p>
