From SAIC to Harvard

Since forever, I have wanted to be a curator. Well, through a series of very fortunate events, I was accepted into SAIC for a BA in Visual Critical Studies (which a very generous scholarship).

Can I get into Harvard/NYU/Courtauld graduate school Art History program with a degree from SAIC (School of the Art Institute)?

My only fear is when I apply to these graduate schools, they won't take me seriously because I received an academic degree from an art school. And although this is a very presumptuous question, I have to ask: Will it at all possible for me to become a Rhodes Scholar coming from this institution as well?

Rhodes is more concerned with you starting 8 businesses, 3 charities, and curing 4 types of cancer. If you can do that in art school, you may have a chance.

I can’t answer the other question for sure, but I would presume that an Art History department would certainly consider applicants from an art school.
