How long do I have to stay at Santa Fe then transfer to uf. I really want to stay for only about 1 year . Is that possible or do I really have o stay all 2 years
You need to earn your AA degree (or 60+ credits), and meet the transfer requirements for your major. If you have AP/DE/IB/AICE credits, then it may be possible to earn your AA in a year (and based on your major, meet it’s transfer requirements).
Good Luck!

I concur with @Gator88NE .
The key to transferring from SF to US is graduating with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, completing the courses required by your major, and maintaining (or exceeding!) the required GPA. The AA degree requires 60 credits earned from general education courses (36 credits) and elective courses (24 credits). Most programs of will allow you to complete the courses required by your major within the general education and elective options, so no more than 60 credits are required. Some majors (i.e. engineering) requires additional courses that take longer to complete. Also, if you take courses that are outside your program requirements, your timeline may be delayed.
Most full-time students enroll in 12-15 credits each semester. At 15 credits per semester, it takes four semesters to graduate. Full-time enrollment over the summer greatly increases the odds of graduating quickly.
As @Gator88NE mentioned, bringing credits in from AP/DE, etc. will also enable you to reduce your time to degree.
If this is a priority to you, be sure to speak with an Academic Advisor in the Advising Center (2nd floor, Bldg R), to create a personalized academic plan showing all the courses you need to graduate in a timely fashion.
