<p>Hello. I'm from Turkey. I studied at an Anatolian high-school which means students and teachers are chosen carefully. My high-school GPA is 89/100 and I was in honor committee for 4years and last year I became the president and in my country there is an exam which name is OSS (Student Selection Exam) and in that exam I became the 28.000 in 1.500.000 student, I'm studying Philosopy in METU (Middle East Technical University) and B.A. at Anadolu University same time. My Toefl is 85 and I can get recommendation letters from 2 Philosopy Dean (they are well-known in my country). So could you please tell me if have any chance to transfer to any Iyv college. By the way I want to be an engineer. When I transfered a university can I start my education in an engineering department?</p>

<p>It’S going to be very hard. Transfer is not usual for Ivies AFAIK. You must be some kind of extra ordinary, but from what i see, there is nothing outstanding, so don’t know …
Maybe you will have to try, i am also not native, so probably i can’t really chance you</p>

<p>Could you please open the extra ordinary thing? Should I learn one language more, or an IQ test? (my score was 138 is this can change anything?) I mean what should I do?</p>

<p>it means that they are looking for more than standardized tests and GPAs. Also ivies tend not to have a good percentage of transfer students let alone internationals.
You set yourself apart as extraordinary when you say won an international music award, or did something completely unique.What you’re proposing is more numbers, but they need to see something from you that nobody else has done that s had some significant impact on some outside force.</p>
