From where to learn all the concepts for the Math section of the SAT from scratch?

Hey. I am registered for the SAT for August 29 of this year. This would be the first time I would be giving the SAT. For the SAT’s math section, I know that the concepts that you are taught in high school are tested. I have not learnt those concepts, so in order for me to learn all those concepts/topics for the Math section of the SAT from scratch what books would you recommend? Thanks.

How far in math did you get exactly? The SAT contains math through Algebra 2 and trigonometry.

Have you taken a practice test? The benefit of the practice test is that it will tell you exactly what your areas of weakness are, so you can focus your time on those areas.

I have forgotten most, if not all, maths taught previously in high school. If I need to learn all the concepts/topics tested on the SAT’s math section what book do you recommend?

OK, so you are beyond high school, correct?

In that case, I would contact colleges and ask if an SAT score is necessary. If you have some college credits already, and will by applying as a transfer, they will probably not expect a score.

Again, I would suggest a practice test. Khan Academy actually takes the results of your practice tests to pinpoint weak spots and create a custom prep plan.

Groundwork is absolutely correct. To add on to that, Khan academy is usually exceptional at providing courses outside of SAT prep, so you can go course by course through Algebra II using that.
