I submitted my FroSoCo essay yesterday with the rest of the approaching stanford forms. Does anyone know when I know if I've been accepted to FroSoCo?

(Yay, it's like college applications all over again. What fun!)

I was wondering the same thing, actually. I applied also. I hear its about a 25 percent acceptance rate, but i really hope thats only because they get a lot of applications just for the chance to get a two-room double and eat at Ricker (supposedly the best on campus).

I applied too =] Wanna exchange essays haha?

haha why not? i’ll pm you llpitch

LOL! why did you apply to FroSoCo? It’s in middle of nowhere. It’s not as attractive as it sounds. It’s in West Campus and really far away from everything else

actually, its not that much farther. if by “everything else” you mean the freshman dorms, maybe, but its closer to the engineering quad than they are. plus everyone has a bike, so distance doesn’t really matter as much as you would think.

i applied because i want to be around a lot of driven people (especially techies) like myself.

FroSoCo’s not in the middle of nowhere. It’s in one of the prettiest parts of campus. It also happens to be located relatively close to where engineering, math, physics, and social dance classes are held.

Remember that u’ll be freshman so there are no needs to be near engineering quad and stuff. U need to be near the main quad for IHUM, PWR and etc. btw, FroSoCo is in middle of nowhere. Stern and Wilbur will be all frosh. so pretty much u’ll be stuck with all the nerdy upclassmen.

Nerdy is exactly what I want :p

I’m going to be one of the sophomores living there next year so if you get in you should pm me and say hi! ^_^
