<p>I am once again looking at Frost for transfer purposes. Upon researching, I found out from a few people that Frost is becoming or just recently became accredited as a new conservatory?! Is this true?
I know the curriculum mimics that of a conservatory, but I don't know if the School is a true one?</p>

<p>What's in a name? Not much, bleh I say. One would be better off going some where else if going for a music school in the south.</p>
<p>Frost has been an accredited music school since the 1930s. I'm not sure what you mean as accredited as a conservatory. Do you mean that it is a separate school within the University of Miami?</p>
<p>Like, it got "upgraded" so to speak (according to a few sources.) Or maybe it's just at that level hahai don't know.</p>

<p>Not yet, I'm scheduling the feb. 15th regional for frost in nyc b/c i don't have enough moolah to fly down to miami haha. Or rather I'm goign down over christmas break to relook at the school (And visit relatives) and it would b weird to go back a moth later haha.</p>
<p>Did you say in other posts that you are auditioning at Otterbein? Do you know anything about Otterbein for vocal music performance?</p>
<p>Haha I Was going to audition for the winter quarter but decided against it (big pull was that friends are going there andi decided that's not just a good enough reason lol.,)</p>
