I am an OOS student with a 34 ACT, a 4.93 weighted GPA (4.0 uw), and I am ranked 1/500 in my class. I was admitted to the University Honors Program and I was directly admitted to the Farmer School of Business, but I did not receive notification of acceptance into the Farmer School of Business Academic Scholars Program. I was just wondering if anyone with knowledge of the Academic Scholars program within the Farmer School of Business could comment on whether I will miss out on opportunities by not being in the program? Do Honors Program students really get ALL of the same opportunities as the students in FSB Scholars?
I am in pretty much the exact opposite situation. OOS, same stats (34 ACT, 4.0UW, Valedictorian), was directly admitted to the Farmer Business School and got an invitation for the Business Scholars Program— but not the Honors Program. I’ve looked on their website quite a bit and a few threads on here and it is really hard to tell the differences and benefits of each!
