<p>Hey, I was wondering if any of you knew how to sign up for FSE or Discover DC? What do u need to be part of it? Also, do these programs encompass the orientations and placement exams? I am unabe to go to the Welcome week days (june or july sessions) so i was wondering if by participating in fse or discover dc, the orientation will be given there too.</p>
<p>The orientation that is done during Welcome Weeks in August is called First Year Fundamentals and is the Monday/Tuesday of that week. Those are also the dates for the Parent Orientation. </p>
<p>First Year Fundamentals overlaps with FSE so you can’t do both but you can do First Year Fundamentals and Discover DC – I spoke with the New Student Programs office and they confirmed this. </p>
<p>You can register for Discover DC now (from the my.au portal) but First Year Fundamentals and the August Parent Orientation registration isn’t available yet.</p>
