<p>One of my classmates, Ashley, got in too. She was considering JU strongly over FSU, but I convinced her otherwise after I pointed out the educational and financial differences. Her stats are all better than mine, but I don’t know what they were other than:</p>
<p>29 ACT (two 27s which superscored for 29)
4.3 FSU weighted GPA
2 ECs, but lots of community service hours
Pretty good writer, so her essay was probably impressive</p>
<p>She should get into honors, but her housing priority number is the 1800s/</p>
<p>Honors is a minimum 29ACT I believe…just hitting a minimum is no guarantee.</p>
<p>When do you hear about honors, any types of scholarships, etc. They say they don’t use mail, so I assume it will eventually be on their system.</p>
<p>I know people who got invitations with stats below the listed “usual” stats. The 29 ACT or 1910 SAT isn’t even necessarily a requirement. It’s just a “usual” range. We’ve had people who graduated last year with less impressive GPAs and ACTs get invites, so that’s why I was assuming she’d get invited or at least admitted through petition.</p>

I’m confused I sent the application in pretty early, why so late?</p>
<p>Your application had to be complete by the deadline. If it was not complete, then you were moved to the next application group.</p>
<p>When is the next application group deadline ?</p>
<p>Does the Honors invite come in the mail a few weeks later? Do you have to apply also? Last, do they let you know about any type of aid-- any type merit aid?</p>

<p>Accepted, but my old test scores didn’t qualify me for the honors, but my new ones do…should i send them to FSU?</p>
<p>Call Honors and Admissions and advise them of the update. They’ll tell you what to do.</p>
