@brit3434 what were your stats? I applied normal decision and I’m nervous about not getting a waiver
curious about your stats too @brit3434. My son had a 1330 on the rSAT but did not get a waiver.
@mom3boys, What were the stats? My older son got the OOS waiver with a 2150 on the old SAT, but my younger one did not with a 1330 on the rSAT.
So to answer some questions:
- If you’re accepted to summer even though you only applied to fall, that means your stats weren’t on par with the fall ones but also were high enough to not be denied. You will automatically be integrated into campus come fall 2017 with no problems, you just take 2-3 classes during the summer. It’s called Summer C and it’s six weeks long.
- If you received a scholarship (University Freshman Scholarship, most likely), you were in the upper bracket of applicants. You should apply for honors because the scholarship means you will most likely qualify (but students who receive the scholarship aren't the only one's who will qualify, if that makes sense). It'll be displayed on the page where you got your acceptance.
- Housing portal opens Feb. 1. You have to be accepted to get your contract number, so early decisions have an edge over regular. You should apply as quickly as possible on Feb 1, because that determines which "order" you're in when housing is making decisions. It's not like UF where you have to register for housing while applying.

Will Freshman scholarships be awarded at later dates or if it doesn’t appear today on status page with acceptance notification mean you’re not getting one?
