FSU Chance Me

I am currently a senior from NJ. I applied to FSU in early November for the regular decision deadline. I know we wont find out a decision until March 20. However was wondering what thoughts were on my getting in...

OOS
3.41 GPA (4 AP classes 1 dual enrollment and all honors otherwise) (AP stat, AP gov, AP US hist, AP Lit)
28 ACT Composite (Eng-29, Math-25, Reading 31, Sci-26 Writing-27)
Various extra curriculars, Mock trial captain, 4 year varsity softball, summer jobs, summer internship at a prosecutor's office, a lot of volunteering, tutoring, coaching basketball etc
3 letters of rec
My first mp senior grades were all As and 1 B in AP Literature.

FSU is definitely one of my top choices, but im getting scared knowing that I have to wait till the end of March. Also do not want to hurt myself at other schools for housing etc.

When i look at my application it comes up as Admission decision: Available March 20 12:00 am which was new and only came up the other day I believe.

Accepted already to Penn State, Indiana U, U of Iowa, UMass Amherst, and U Alabama

Any help would be great ! Thanks!

Not to be picky, but the regular deadline was actually in October; the March decision date is the late deadline. FSU accepts a vast majority of their freshman class with the December decision date, and only a small number at the March decision date.

You have a decent profile. Ignoring the letters of recommendation (because FSU doesn’t care about them), and looking at your profile, it’s good. I would say probably about 50/50 odds of getting in, because you are applying as OOS (which is competitive) and you’re applying for the second deadline (which is also competitive, due to a lack of spots available).

The first deadline was listed As early action when I saw. I took the act again October 20 so I didn’t want that to be an issue because I only got a 25 the first time! But thank you !!!

Also would you think a visit there would help? They told me if I visited I would get to meet with an admissions counselor and stuff.
