Swimming, Karate, competed both locally & nationally. Honor Roll, steady A & B grades.
So happy my son was accepted, his test scores may not have been the strongest but he is a great scholar. Very dedicated & responsible. We touched base with admissions often, visited the school for an official tour. If you are interested in FSU or any other school, show it, don’t feel discouraged if your test scores are not the best, don’t give up show interest and you will see the results. Go Noles!!!

I was initially waitlisted but took the ACT and submitted my mid year senior grades (3 As and 3 Bs). I also sent a letter to the school with more community service. So grateful to have been accepted! I’m currently in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend who attends FSU. Honestly if you work hard enough you’ll get in. :slight_smile:

Got deferred for early admission but second one got admitted.

Drum major, president of chinese club, secretary for model un, treasurer in key club, principle flute player, all county orchestra, tri state, Vice President of national art honor society, president of book club, and I’ve won a lot of art and literature awards.
Community service: over a hundred hours

Just so everyone knows- i most likely got in for my extracurricular standing cause my grades are mediocre. I’m in all ap classes and my gpa is fine I guess but my sophomore year I had a lot of health issues so I had like straight d’s and f’s except for band and art :stuck_out_tongue: lol.

So for everyone thinking you might not get in- dude. Sell yourself to them, tell them all the great things about you and just show youre a hard worker. Yeah grades show hard work but it does for thousands of ther people. It’s the extracurricular activities and your competitiveness and uniqueness that sets you a part and gets you in. Do stuff that gets you past the tie breaker and you’ll get it no problem.
