Mobynick (nice name, BTW!), did you send them any updated information…better test scores or anything like that? I think it would increase your chances if you had sent new info.

Being deferred and then accepted is common, if you send in updated information: mid-year grades, new test scores, etc. Often times FSU just wants your mid-year grades if you have a grade below a C on your transcripts to prove you won’t get any more, or they want updated test scores if your scores didn’t quite meet their standards.
If you don’t send in anything new though, odds are not going to be that good for you.
hahaha thank you:) & yes! i sent my first semester senior year grades which were all A’s and maybe one B in an AP, then increased my SAT score by a little bit but not too much. i actually sent a deferral letter as well a weeks after recieving my deferral. let’s hope it works out!!
