Thank You wasianbrandon!!! I will figure the core score out now.
“The Online Status Check and application fee payments are closed through late afternoon Wednesday, December 9th in preparation for the release of freshman admission decisions. We apologize for the inconvenience.” On FSU’s Facebook page: “Good morning! We’re looking forward to welcoming a new generation of Seminoles today.
You can follow Florida State University Admissions on Twitter (https://twitter.com/FSUAdmissions) all day for assistance and questions, or visit http://admissions.fsu.edu/”
Last year when my decision came out, you could login to your application and if you were accepted it would say “admit type” instead of application type. not sure if this is still a thing
@fsuistheshiz Mine says admit type!!! I’m wondering if it was like that originally or not though
@briacevedo1 i got deferred last year and mine still said application type but i dont want to get your hopes up too much cuz a lot of things can change from year to year!
FSU Admissions on Twitter confirms that decisions will be released before 5pm
@malibu87 I recall from last year that the housing contract didn’t open until sometime in January/February, but I can’t seem to find a date for freshmen housing this year on their website. My suggestion would be that if your child is accepted, go to the myHousing portal (link somewhere on this page https://housing.fsu.edu/future-residents/contract-and-processes/housing-contracts) and see if you can fill out the contract yet. If not, they should release a date for it soon.
If you fill out the housing contract and then decide not to reside in the dorms, what happens. I figure you will lose the deposit, but is that the only penalty?
I have heard that you lose either $50 or $100 of the $200 deposit, if I am remembering correctly.
OH NO THE STATUS CHECK WEBSITE JUST CHANGED TO “THIS EVENING”
“The Online Status Check and application fee payments are currently closed in preparation for the release of freshman admission decisions this evening. For up-to-date information, please follow @FSUAdmissions on Twitter. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
The FSU Admissions twitter hasn’t said anything about the evening thing yet.
I didn’t realize that…great. For the amount of stress it’s causing I hope I get in.
We just noticed that change to “this evening” too.
maybe they just changed it so people would stop asking why it hasn’t come out yet
IM SO NERVOUS!!!
@-)
jk they’re delayed:(
hopefully a 30 act and a 4.0 weighted from oos is good enough :))
Not sure exactly when, but decisions will definitely still be out today. Things are taking just a tiny bit longer than estimated.
