FSU Class of 2022 Accepted/Rejected

I have similar stats. Only diffs are 3.8 gpa, 1250 sat, and out of state. I was applied EA and was rejected but appealed my decision and waiting to hear today

My son got an email just a short while ago. Accepted.

Admitted, full OOS waiver. Made the decision of which college to attend an easy one.

can you rush frat/sorority if you are in the Pathways program?

I just randomly received an OOS tuition waiver the other day? Even though I don’t have a 4.0…isn’t that weird?? I had emailed ages ago asking about the OOS tuition waiver and they said I hadn’t received one. Does anyone know why they offered me one now?

@incurablycurious - if you don’t mind sharing, what were your test scores and GPA? It seemed that the full OOS waiver initially required a weighted 4.0 core gpa and a 30 ACT score but maybe they are reevaluating that and changing/lowering the cutoff. You are the second person I’ve seen that has received the OOS waiver in the last week that initially did not receive it. This might be hopeful news to other OOS students waiting for a waiver.

Congrats, you will love FSU!

Hello everyone, Just wondering if anyone knows what the ACT/SAT cutoff was for out of state tuition waiver this year? Thank you. My son was accepted and is attending but did not receive the waiver. Hoping daughter makes the waiver cut off this year. Thanks in advance.

Hi, would you be willing to share the ACT/SAT score needed for out of state waiver.

My daughter is applying for the Fall of 2019. I have been reading everyone’s academic resume, etc. Did you or your child get accepted to FSU. Also, did you do the essay portion? My daughter says she doesn’t have to do it but I know you should. Any advice on this stuff? Thanks!

Frustrated dad, it is taking me awhile to figure out this “forum”. My daughter is applying for Fall of 2019 at FSU. Your son was accepted but what was his initial information? Is it somewhere in this long thread? Thanks for any help!

@beach1234 Are you applying for the Fall 2019 semester? Maybe we should start a new thread, but I was interested in the final results of the 2018 results. Who got in, etc.

@cheerdramama In the college application process I have learned that even if just optional, u should always do the essays.

Thank you @SAD1010. She is did her essay today and just needs to clean it up!

I think the essay helped my daughter get into FSU. She applied and was accepted for the summer session with a 28 ACT and 3,6 gpa. We are out of state from Virginia.

Did she apply for summer or fall? I applied for fall and am really hoping that’s what they give me…

Summer. She didn’t have the starts for fall.

Its up!!! Accepted OOS!!! NY
