Also applied to UCF (deferred), Keiser Flagship Campus (A with $36,000 scholarship), UF, Johnson and Wales Miami, Saint Leo, Mercer, Ohio U, and FIU.

Your qualifications seem high to have been deferred at UCF. I think you should call or email UCF admissions toFind out what happened. My daughter had lower stats and was originally deferred for UCFand then accepted soon after we sent them an email. Good luck!

I agree with Virginiachick. Your stats are too high to be deferred at UCF. Call to see what the issue is as it may be something easily resolved.

I was also deferred from UCF because i didn’t fill out any residency info lol.

Has anyone had their FSU portal update to show an EMPLID number? Just noticed this showed up on my portal a day or two ago. Anyone else?

@collegegirl2022 My son has that too…not sure if it was there before though or what it means

Just did a quick search and found the following:

An EMPLID is a unique, nine-digit number issued to all Prospective Students, Admitted or Current Students, Faculty and Staff, and Sponsored Guests of Florida State University.

The EMPLID is required to activate an FSUID account.

Just noticed it on my son’s info as well…

On my D’s portal as well.

FSU Housing just posted on the FSU Reddit page that you will use the EMPLID to activate your FSUID prior to accessing the Housing Portal to complete the Housing Contract.

It’s on mine, too. I don’t think it was there before.

My daughter’s page has it too. Maybe they added it to everyone’s account?
