how do you calculate your FSU gpa?
The acceptance is non-binding.
My daughter was also accepted with the summer session requirement. Probably will pass, since we do not think it is necessary and has many options. 4.6 WGPA, with 30 college credits and 1310 SAT (took exam once), she is more than ready for college level classes.
My son was accepted with an unweighted 3.99, 1410 SAT, volunteer hours, captain of basketball, variety of awards, FCA, and he works. He will also graduate with an associate degree at 17. He is in state.
DD is in! OOS, 4.2 WGPA, 1350 SAT, Fall admit.

D got in for fall! OOS 1340 SAT/29 ACT 4.2 GPA
Such a weird year - thankful for each and every “Yes”!
I don’t see that she’s been assigned a major unless I missed it. Is it listed in her portal?
My son has same experience
What is 2/26? I feel like I’m missing something.
UF decisions. The last one, for many of us.
Same here! UF last decision for us thank goodness! I can’t take too many more decision days
What is up with the summer session? Are these supposed to be kids on the borderline or something? I would not consider your daughter (or mine) a “border” kid with their stats but what do I know?
Are your acceptance letters showing the major? Ours has no major listed but also doesn’t say we’ve been turned down from the initially chosen major.
Hi my daughter was accepted OOS. She got Summer Session, but her high school graduation is not until June 24 and classes start June 21. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Yes mine also got into UCF. Crazy
2/26 is when UF releases decisions
@kdzmom We’ve been unlucky getting merit at the schools mu daughter is very interested in but getting decent merit from the schools at the bottom of her list.
For those that got in to the honors college, does anyone know when they send information about the Presidential Scholars Program?
I am sure it will be soon. The website says the required interviews are in March. The letter does indicate that they will send us a separate email. They are either still reviewing applications or prefer to not release everything in one day.
FSU doesn’t take major into consideration for admissions unless its something that you have an audition for.
The first page of the portal site gives details.
