What is the difference between community style and suite style at FSU?
Also what is the difference between a private bath, a shared bath, or a floor bath?

To answer the community vs suite style question, FSU housing has this to say:

As for private vs. shared vs. floor bathrooms:

Private means that only one room has access to the bathroom, and it’s shared by residents of just that one room. Typically that is reserved for those with disabilities that are documented with Housing.

Shared is the standard suite-style: two rooms share access to one bathroom. The residents of both rooms have access to the bathroom, which means that 4 or 5 students share them.

Floor is community-style: there’s one set of bathrooms/showers on the floor that are available to everyone to use. They’re cleaned daily by hall staff.

One thing to keep in mind: Dorman and Deviney are currently in the process of being rebuilt as suite-style buildings. Two new buildings will open in Fall 2015.
