I want to know if I have what it takes to get accepted if I apply for the fall session
I think I can get my act to a 28 or a least a 27

I would apply summer 26 ACT below 25% for fall and right at it for summer

Even a 28 ACT is below fall 25%
The rest of your numbers are good
Spend time on essay

Very good shot at summer or pathways if you don’t get test score up

If I am for fall what should my score before the act

What score should my act be for the fall session for Fsu if I apply for early action

Based on this years class
Summer 2023 ACT scores middle 50% 26-30 and Fall 29-33
You want to be in that range
Also, everyone has to do a summer session so it’s not a big deal. You take 2 classes for 6 weeks and ease into college life.
If I was recommending to my kids I would have them apply summer. I currently have one at FSU and one at UF
There is no magical score but if you are below the 25% your chances are not as good.

Your Unweighted GPA is great it looks like you maybe got one B in High school and you have rigor with AP’s and Honor classes
You can recalculate your Weighted GPA and it should fall in the range FSU wants with your rigor. add 1 point for AP and .5 point for honors in core plus foreign language classes.

However, it looks like you go to a very competitive High School since with your 3.958 unweighted GPA and 10 AP and 15 Honors you are barely in top 20%.

Can you chance me for summer admission?

in state since beginning last school year (11th grade)

I would recommend applying to Summer
Your test scores are fine
Your GPA is below the 25%

This needs some further clarification.
I take it you are talking about some kind of advance course that was not designated a Local Honors or Honors course. Otherwise, they should still be eligible for the .5 GPA boost.

Hi, I’m applying to FSU ea.

My school uses a weird 107 point scale but if I try to convert based on the A-=3.7 system, I have abt a 3.95 UW GPA 1540 SAT 14 APs 7 Honors

Major of interest: Most likely Bioinformatics Bio side cuz I liked the curriculum more, but I might go Bioinformatics CS side since it fits my profile more.

Intern at tech startup for 9 months (6 as basic intern, 3 as a team lead)
Research assistant for a summer in bioinformatics research, assistant for a year at another (published as a third author on a paper)
Cofounder of a red cross club
Robotics-states and regional awards
Taught java for 2 months to underclassmen
Yt channel abt hobby, a few videos got over a thousand views
Certificates in research, data, python, java, and bioinformatics

3.34 unweighted
4.25 weighted

12 honors
5 AP
2 IB

ACT 28

Looking to enter business school

NJHS president freshman year
3 years varsity lacrosse
Head of School’s list
Holder Cup award - school’s highest non-academic award
Part time job during entire HS career

If applying EA for fall, is summer offered if expectations not met for fall admissions? Or must summer be selected as the choice for admissions?

unweighted = 3.96
Weight college GPA = 4.5
for my school gpa I am 6.04
27 act
applying for the summer program
Want to major in Finance
10 AP in total including senior year 7 so far
13 honors classes
ranked 102/593
Rowing and worked a part time job for 4 years
Treasurer of the Key service Club

Do I have a good shot or would it be considered a reach school.

Any idea when EA decisions will be released?

Apparently ea is for florida residents only and out of state students go into the regular pool. Early comes back Dec 14 and regular comes back Feb 15.

Ty!
